PwC has developed a facial recognition tool to monitor staff working from home when they’re away from their computer screens.

Silkie Carlo, director of Big Brother Watch said: “This Big Brother-style monitoring is chilling and a gross invasion of employees’ privacy. No one should have to clock into work with biometric data or be constantly subjected to pervasive electronic surveillance.”
