Our investigation and exposé of the widespread use of private facial recognition in the UK prompted a leading article in the Times.

The Times noted our investigation and our campaigning against police and private use of live facial recognition and agreed with our assertion that there is an epidemic of live facial recognition, the fact that there is no legal basis for its use, and the potential for the UK to become a surveillance state if this technology is allowed to be used.
