Reports: Emergency Powers and Civil Liberties
In 2020, we faced arguably the greatest crisis for civil liberties in the UK since World War II – the coronavirus pandemic. We’ve produced comprehensive reports exposing the drastic suspension of civil liberties, analysing new emergency laws and making recommendations to restore rights and democracy.
In total, we published 14 Emergency Powers & Civil Liberties reports between April 2020 and March 2022, and sent them to every parliamentarian, every month.
