On 18th February 2021, BBC Radio 2 hosted a debate on employers operating “no jab no job” policies. Big Brother Watch director Silkie Carlo, fiercely opposing the policy, debated Pimlico Plumber boss Charlie Mullins, who wants to put the policy into practice.
A “no jab no job” policy would be coercive, discriminatory and disastrous for workers’ rights. These policies are about defending the interests of wealthy bosses – not workers’ or customers’ rights.
